Nala Chair – Herman Miller
The Herman Miller Nala chair was designed to serve as a patient recovery chair that would depart from the clinical nature of most hospital furniture. The recline mechanism needed to address patient and caregiver ergonomics as patients often stand with assistance from caregivers during recovery. Encouraging both sitting up and standing/walking is key to speeding recovery after surgery.
