Speck Products

Speck called on Cusp to tackle their most challenging 3D surfacing issues. Looks simple enough, but the challenge is planning. The 3-layer system is interlocking, so surfaces needed to be developed in a cascading fashion – finalizing one part before moving on to the next.

We developed their approach to housing now-common full frontal display smartphones before the first iPhone was released and developed the architecture for their most popular cases – incorporating insert molding of hard and soft materials.
